Usual entry options:
Solo (workshop-based) Based on your approximate grade, so that you can be grouped with performers of a similar standard. All the classes in this section are workshop-based without a competitive element. Each performer will play in turn (for up to the time limit stated below) and will then work with the adjudicator immediately following their performance. Performers will receive at least 5 minutes individually with the adjudicator at the lower levels, increasing to 10 and 15 minutes for the higher-grade classes. Each performer will additionally receive written feedback on their own performance and a certificate.
Recital Performers will receive individual written and verbal feedback. To gain the most out of the class, try to use the time guide to the full, presenting pieces that show a range of styles. The adjudicator may select a winner in each class.
