October Camp

Mon 26th - Fri 30th October

Looking for a holiday activity that’s more than just childcare?

Our YMS Creative Camps are a fun, high-energy experience where children explore music, creativity and performance in a supportive and inspiring environment. Students will build confidence, make new friends and discover new skills through a mix of music, arts and imaginative play.

Each day is packed with variety, around our weekly themes. From creating sound effects and building instruments, to designing their own T-shirts, taking part in karaoke and lip sync battles, playing as a Band, learning about Brazilian Samba, Film Music, Musical Theatre and enjoying outdoor games and mindful moments. With a balance of structured sessions and creative freedom, every child has the chance to shine.

The camp builds towards a special end-of-week performance or recording project, where parents are invited to watch their child take to the stage and celebrate everything they’ve created that week.

Whether your child already loves music or is just starting their creative journey, this camp is designed to be inclusive, engaging and, most importantly, fun.

Booking Terms: All bookings are subject to a non-refundable £20 deposit, with the remaining payment due 14 days before your first day at camp.

TWO ROOMS. TWO MUSICAL EXPERIENCES.

We’ll be running two specialist camp experiences side-by-side, allowing children to enjoy activities suited to their age, experience and musical ability.

ROOM 1: Discover and Create

Beginner Musicians | Ages 6–11

A creative introduction to the world of music, exploring some of the best-known musical works and the stories behind them. Children will discover famous pieces of music, explore their connections to storytelling and the arts, get creative with themed arts & crafts activities and make music together in small ensembles using arranger keyboards.

Perfect for children who are just beginning their musical journey and want to explore music in a fun, creative way. We recommend students who are Grade 2 and below to join us for this one!

ROOM 2: Rehearse and Record

Grade 3+ Standard | Ages 8–13

For our more experienced young musicians, this camp is all about taking their playing into the recording studio. Children will choose from a selection of songs, rehearse as an ensemble and work towards Thursday and Friday recording sessions with a professional sound engineer. We will send out the practice materials prior to camp to ensure campers are prepared for their rehearsals and recording.

And the best part? They’ll leave with a professional recording to keep forever!
